Waterline Films was established in 2003 by writer/director Michal Otlowski as the motion picture production company. 

The company focuses on development, co-production and production of commercially viable and genre films.

Michal graduated from the acclaimed Polish National Film School in Lodz (Directing Department) and Andrzej Wajda Film School (Creative Producers Course).

Michal attended Nipkow Programm Berlin (Germany), Moonstone International (UK), Media Business School (Spain), EATC/EBU Writing Bursary (Switzerland), Rozbitek Institute (Poland) and EKRAN (Poland).

His screenplays were in the final of Polish edition of Hartley-Merrill International Script Competition twice, as well as at Residence du Festival (France) and nominated in category "Best Fiction Script" at Prix-Geneve Europe.

Writer and director of the feature film "Waterline" (2014). The film won several awards at the film festivals in Poland.

Vice President of NFK Distribution (2013-2016), the biggest Polish sales agency.
